I designed and led a seminar / workshop, which brought organisations and Government agencies working with Māori and Pacific communities to help raise their financial capability. Discussion points included the challenges, ways forward, and what retirement looks like to members of these communities.
What does retirement look like for Māori? That's one of the topics being discussed at a financial summit in 2018. I was interviewed with other experts to discuss why many Māori communities don't believe retirement is achievable.
I was interviewed on Te Karere in my role as an addictions clinician to help the community understand substance abuse's effects and encourage people to reach out for help.
Aroha and tautoko - that's the key message I gave for abusers to get help on Te Karere
I was interviewed in 2021 to discuss my doctoral study that revealed 29 Māori men he interviewed had been sexually abused by women.
In November 2022, I was interviewed by radio host James King to discuss the findings of my doctorate research regarding Maaori men affected by sexual violence.
I was interviewed in my role as a financial capability expert with Natalie Vincent from Nga Tangata to talk about money with host James King.
