Rongomaiwahine, Kahungunu Ewan has a diverse background with several businesses of his own including Online Community building and Dive chartering. His formal qualifications include a BA/LLB and a Masters in Information Management. Ewan and his family have a passion for Māori language revitilization, his two daughters are attending Kura Kaupapa while his Pākehā wife is currently enrolled in a full-time Te Ataarangi course. Ewan is currently in his last year of writing, in the Māori language, a PhD thesis in computer supported Maori language revitilization. Ewan has a love for the sea and if not working on his thesis or spending time with the whanau will be found diving for kaimoana.
