Ella Henry

Ella Henry is a Senior Lecturer in Te Ara Poutama, the Faculty of Māori Indigenous Development, Auckland University of Technology. Ella is convenor of the Māori Media major of the Bachelor of Māori Development. In 2012, Ella completed a PhD focussing on Māori entrepreneurship in screen production. Ella holds a Master of Philosophy in Management Employment Relations (1995) and a Bachelor of Arts (1990) from the University of Auckland. Alongside her academic work, Ella is also involved in the Māori screen industry, as a writer, actor, presenter and commentator.
