Katoa Ltd is a Maori research, Maori evaluation and Maori training company based in Auckland, Aotearoa New Zealand. We specialise in Kaupapa Maori / indigenous research and evaluation. We work with government agencies, philanthropic organisations, Māori provider organisations, district health boards, whanau ora providers and provider collectives, Māori communities, and Iwi/tribes. Katoa Ltd undertakes largely Maori health research, including Health Impact Assessment (HIA) and Whanau Ora Health Impact Assessment. Indigenous Kaupapa Maori evaluation is undertaken for government agencies and also for tribes. Training is also offered in indigenous / Kaupapa Maori research and evaluation.
