Dr. Whitinui is a Professor in the School of Exercise Science, Physical and Health Education at the University of Victoria, BC. As an interdisciplinary social scientist and educator working in the area of education and health his research interests span decolonization, anti-racism, critical ethnography, Treaty-relational frameworks, culturally responsive and inclusive pedagogies as well as Indigenous student achievement and success.
