I am Ngati Pukenga, Ngati Ranginui and Ngaiterangi from Tauranga Moana and I operate as a professional in Maori heritage based on archaeology, anthropology and cultural history. I work mainly in the area of heritage under the Resource Management Act 1993 and Pouhere Taonga Act 2014. I am active in the area of indigenous archaeology at an international level attending and presenting at conferences on this topic in association with other indigenous archaeologists. I am an Associate Research Fellow at Waikato University and currently teach a summer T Semester paper at stage 3&4 titled "Maori Heritage" with the Anthropology Department. Most of my work is with Maori community with either hapu or iwi.
