Abstract | A One Day Pratical Policy Masterclass workshop focused on developing policy and analytical skills for staff employed in central and local government agencies who need to produce policy advice materials to inform governance and management decisions. This report is a summary of the following topcis: 1. The Machinery of government 2. Providing first principles policy advice for senior government officials and Ministers 3. Producing cabinet papers and policy advice papers to inform Ministerials decisions 4. Strategic and Operational policy - understanding the different expectations and their related tools. |
